Feet of pond
Completed
Thirty by fifty feet is a serious body of water. At that size a pond stops being a feature in a garden and becomes the reason the garden is laid out the way it is.
We have been a Certified Aquascape Contractor since 1997 and hold the Master CAC title, and this is the kind of build that certification exists for.
The approach
A pond that works is a closed ecosystem, and the whole of it has to be planned at once: circulation, filtration, fish, aquatic plants, rocks and gravel, and bacteria. Get the balance right and the water clears itself and the maintenance is light. Get it wrong and the owner spends every summer fighting algae in a hole that will not hold a level.
This is why we tell people to go and look at a pond contractor''s finished work in person, and to talk to the clients who live with it. Water gardens are prone to mistakes during construction, and those mistakes are expensive to unpick.
What we built
The pond, and then the front and back landscaping around it, so the house and the water read as one scheme rather than a garden with a pond dropped into it. Aquascape products carry a one to five year warranty, extended for as long as the owner stays on our Premiere Care programme.
The result
The owners say it completely transformed their home, and that watching the crews work every day was itself worth seeing. That is the thing about a pond build: the artistry is not hidden inside a wall, it happens in front of you.

“They recently completed a 30x50 pond for us, along with front and back landscaping, which completely transformed our home. Not only is the final result stunning, but watching them work every day was an inspiring experience as their artistry came to life.”
